I just discovered this album today and man oh man what a find! This is a very unique take on black metal and field recordings that is a must listen for anyone who is into left field music, Coil or some excellent music <3

Striking and hypnotic, listening through Geister is a rugged and immense journey. The album is brimming with ceremonial darkness from the moment it starts. The intensity of each track is bookended with ritual, and this immersive factor keeps me utterly entranced by the story being told. Geister still feels frigid and dangerous, and I end up captivated every time I listen.

Unusual to hear punky black metal like this that has such cool and thoughtfully constructed riffs. Bone Awl's great and all but this is a whole different animal... It's actually fun to listen to.
